Where is each sector located?

The Plana Alta and Plana Baixa areas are home to a large number of companies belonging to the province’s tile sector (manufacture and distribution of tiles, industrial machinery, glazes), as well as companies in the bathroom sector, production and marketing of citrus and other fruit, ICT companies, the construction sector and companies in the service sector.

The Baix Maestrat region is a very diverse area that is home to several companies, some of which are quite important, like those in the chemical industry, the furniture industry, the agri-food sector (which also includes citrus fruits), and construction materials.

In the Alto Palancia area, there are smaller companies, mainly dedicated to agri-food products, although chemical and metal products are also produced there.

The presence of the ceramics cluster is also quite relevant in L’Alcalatén, together with that of the agri-food sector, while in Alt Maestrat, agri-food product exporters are more prevalent.

In Alto Mijares, there are mainly companies in the construction materials sector and in Els Ports, there is a long tradition of textile manufacturing.
